About New Season Treatment Center – Manchester West

The New Season Treatment Center has a location in Manchester West, New Hampshire. They are an outpatient (OP) opioid addiction treatment that is open seven days a week for adults. Their hours of operation may differ between weekdays and weekends.

They’re a medication assisted treatment (MAT) facility. Counseling services will be combined with your medication. The medications will help you have a smoother recovery journey as it addresses cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

The tailored prescription medications they use are methadone, buprenorphine and Suboxone. They offer a flexible schedule and regular medical exams. The medical exams are to ensure your safety while you are in treatment.

Methadone is used to alleviate your cravings and ease your withdrawal symptoms. To ensure safety, this medication will be administered under medical supervision.

Buprenorphine is going to reduce your cravings but without the same intensity as opioids. It targets the opioids receptors. They can prescribe this in an outpatient setting.

Suboxone combines both buprenorphine and naloxone. This is done to enhance safety and also minimizes the risk of misuse.

You will be able to earn take home benefits of the medication. You will just need to meet their specific criteria for that particular benefit.

They also have an intensive outpatient program (IOP). The difference between medication assisted treatment with counseling compared to the intensive outpatient program is that there are more counseling hours. There are also more types of counseling like individual, group and family. Also, there is more of an emphasis placed on mental health and crisis intervention.

I do like that they provide snacks and refreshments for all of their sessions. With this program you will be required to attend for a minimum of six weeks. You attend sessions three times per week for three hours per day.
