About New Paths
Located in Flint, Michigan, New Paths is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center for adults. Programs include detox, residential rehab, outpatient programs, aftercare, sober living, medication-assisted treatment, and family support services.
Offering a comprehensive approach to substance use disorder treatment, New Paths uses evidence-based treatments to help individuals achieve and sustain recovery. Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment and development of an individualized treatment plan. Treatment may include individual and group therapy, peer-led recovery support, recreational activities, life-skills groups, didactic presentations, and family sessions. Participants live in a structured environment for a period of 30 to 90 days. Treatment may be supported with medication-assisted recovery, which involves the use of FDA-approved medications and counseling to treat opioid use disorders.
New Paths is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and the National Association for Recovery Residences. Most major insurance plans, Medicaid, and private pay are accepted. Financing may be available.
