About New Paradigm Counseling

New Paradigm Counseling is located in Castle Rock, Colorado. Outpatient services for individuals with a mental health or substance use disorder is provided. I like that their sessions are hybrid. Some of your sessions will be in person and others via telehealth. Although Medicaid is accepted, they are also able to provide you with affordable self pay options.

The counselors and recovery coaches help you with your personalized treatment plan. Your treatment plan will be based on your assessment. They are also able to help you through the legal process, if needed.

If your assessment determines that you will benefit from more intense substance abuse service, then you will attend the intensive outpatient program. Depending on the counseling, your program will require you to attend anywhere from 9-19 hours per week for up to 12 consecutive weeks. The length may be extended per individual need.

For individual sessions, they offer dialectical behavior therapy. These sessions teach you to manage your emotions. It requires you to attend 120 minutes per week for up to 120 consecutive weeks. The center has found this therapy to be helpful in treating substance use disorders and mental health disorders. They also offer relapse prevention classes and strategies for change and self improvement.
