New Light Recovery Center is a community based substance abuse treatment clinic in Detroit, Michigan. This is a general outpatient treatment facility that offers several treatment options. They have an extensive methadone maintenance program as well as aftercare support. An intensive outpatient program with recovery housing is also available.

New Light Recovery has a variety of targeted programs to help you address complex needs. Traditional individual and group counseling are always available, but more specific options exist such as their cocaine specific groups. They also have methadone and buprenorphine abstinence programs to help you quit over the course of 90 days to two years.

One big benefit of this location is its intensive outpatient program. Like the general outpatient program, it allows you to receive treatment while living at home. However, they can also provide recovery housing if you're unable to frequently travel. I like the additional support because it means you won't have to settle for a different level of care.
