About New Life Treatment Woodstock
New Life Treatment Woodstock in Woodstock, Minnesota, is a nonprofit drug rehab center grounded in love for Jesus Christ. However, support here is available to individuals regardless of their religion, gender, sexual orientation, race or national origin. They pride themselves on being extremely inclusive, prioritizing wellness by helping individuals and their families free themselves from the shackles of addiction.
People of all faiths and those of no faith are welcome here with open arms. The center is very clear that it’s not about “shoving religion down people’s throats.” That being said, spirituality is a part of the ethos here.
The center provides quality addiction treatment services, including both inpatient and outpatient options. Residential care seeks to provide a homely and comfortable atmosphere for its clients, with ample opportunities for residents to socialize and enjoy the company of their fellow housemates. Recreational activities like sports, crafting and walks in the local area are a big part of how the people here develop a sense of community and well-being.
The center sees itself as being more about the people that make it than rules and regulations. However, residents must above all show respect to themselves, fellow housemates, staff and for the facility and program itself. Everything is outlined more specifically in their code of conduct, but ultimately this is what underpins everything. So long as there is mutual respect, the center can maintain a balance of fun and routine.
They encourage residents’ families to support them while in recovery where appropriate, with family day activities held every Wednesday. Residents also benefit from regular and nutritionally sound meals, with tasty grub to help heal their bodies and minds. A licensed nurse can be found on site 24/7, while other staff members come and go to provide individual and family therapy, spiritual guidance and drug counseling.
