This facility provides a wide range of behavioral health support which can include substance use disorder therapeutic modalities. Their emphasis is on providing emotional, behavioral, and social development.
Chandler offers several community resources including public libraries, places of worship, recreation centers, and access to social services. Stottler House is in the heart of Chandler and is near several community parks. You can also access Desert Breeze Park or Chandler Fashion Center for recreational outlets.
Structured Round the Clock Care
Since 1978, Stottler House has been focusing on assisting adolescent boys including referrals for people involved in the juvenile justice or child welfare systems. There’s an emphasis on providing care for people with a history of abuse, trauma, neglect, or addiction. The home is in a suburban neighborhood which makes it feel more welcoming.
Residents will have supportive staff that focus on developing individualized plans that take into account the unique circumstances of each child. The center has four beds, two baths, a full kitchen and a private backyard with a basketball hoop.
Maintaining Academic Responsibilities
Although Stottler House doesn’t directly provide academic instruction, the organization coordinates with nearby schools to ensure that residents don’t fall behind academically or miss essential social interactions. Likewise, if needed, case managers can work with parents and guardians to ensure that residents are able to access critical social services.
