About New Freedom Recovery Center
The New Freedom Recovery Center is located in suburban Bonney Lake, Washington. They specialize in treating adults and adolescents who struggle with substance abuse disorders. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and, for the last 17 years, have continued to provide high quality care. You’ll benefit from receiving outpatient care here because they offer flexible payment plans to ensure you guidance to move forward in your recovery.
The road to recovery can appear overwhelming when you’re struggling with how to move forward or where to begin to improve your quality of life. A pre-admission assessment over the phone will be completed followed up with a series of assessments once you complete the admission process.
Your weekly schedule can consist of individual counseling and group therapy where you can develop coping skills and vocalize challenges you're experiencing that can impact your recovery. In between sessions, you might be able to take an excursion to Clearwater Neighborhood Park or another greenspace to relax.
Something that caught my eye is their focus on prioritizing your recovery by helping you develop a strong foundation for your recovery. Their relapse prevention program provides a more in-depth process of life in recovery and ways to handle challenges when they come up. Topics can include social pressures, long-term sobriety, managing post-acute withdrawal, anger management, guilt, shame, and the different phases of recovery.
Being a parent can be stressful when your child is exhibiting concerns of being at risk of or has become chemically dependent. They provide a multitude of services for your child to heal. To better assist you and your child, an assessment will be completed to determine what program you will benefit from the most. They offer Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS), outpatient education, and continuation of care.
Their (IOP) program is three days a week with two hour sessions where clients have take-home assignments to discuss the effects of addiction and what life in recovery consists of. Their counselors will also provide guidance and help your child develop a recovery plan. They also offer family support and family education to establish healthy boundaries, improve communication, and understand how addiction impacts your child’s behaviors, thoughts, and emotions.
