About New Directions Lehigh Valley
New Directions Lehigh Valley is a non profit organization providing outpatient addiction treatment for adults. This facility specializes in the treatment of opioid use disorder with medication assisted treatment and counseling.
Methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone are used to treat withdrawal symptoms and decrease drug cravings. You can expect to participate in individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation, psychoeducation, and individualized discharge planning. You’ll have to engage in drug use screens and meet financial obligations to earn take home medication privileges.
Mental health services are given through the Cedar Point Family Network. All services are offered in English and Spanish. Attendees of New Directions say this program saved their lives. Other former clients said there are a lot of rules to follow for medication privileges.
