I found that the facilities can house 44 men and 30 women in a dorm style setting with two people per room. Men’s and women’s treatment, meals and all facilities are completely separate, and interactions between male and female participants are not allowed.

They offer both residential and outpatient programs for pregnant women and have play areas for children when they visit the facility.

I think it’s worth noting that the California Department of Corrections and other court agencies work with New Directions to treat parolees who are experiencing long term substance use and related criminal issues.
