About New Day Recovery High Intensity Residential Treatment
The women's housing of New Day Recovery provides women with residential treatment in Youngstown, Ohio. The organization is CARF-accredited and is LegitScript certified. They’re also licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
Insurance such as Medicaid and Caresource are accepted. If you choose to not use your insurance or are uninsured, you’ll have the option to self pay for your treatment.
When you arrive for your treatment, their nurses will review your medical history, substance use history, check your vitality and assess your withdrawal symptoms. If needed, you’ll be able to detox at their facility next door before commencing your residential treatment program.
During your stay, you’ll have quite a few options to spend your downtime. You’ll have access to their fully equipped gym. The gym will help you stay active and healthy. What stood out to me is that they have a salon onsite. Salon access allows you to maintain your personal care. If availability allows, you’ll be able to choose between private and semi private rooms. All their bedrooms come equipped with televisions.
Their cafe is going to provide you with home cooked meals and you’ll have 24/7 access to snacks. I also like that you will have the option to relax in their outdoor area or unwind in their video gaming room.
Depending on your specific needs, your length of stay may range between 14-45 days. You’ll attend at least seven hours of treatment per day, but you will have regular recreation and time to unwind. I like that you’ll also be able to attend off site activities such as picnics and movies. What stood out to me is that the staff is all women.
Your treatment will have an array of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement therapy, trauma therapy, reality based interventions and the 12 Step program. You’ll also be able to learn life skills such as cooking and maintaining a clean atmosphere, as well as receive guidance in managing your finances and job hunting.
