About New Beginnings Outreach Ministries

New Beginnings Outreach Ministries of Southern Ohio operates Freedom Hall Recovery Center a nonprofit residential recovery program in Piketon serving adults with drug and alcohol dependency.

This faith based provider aims to offer accessible long term support to clients across the Appalachian region who may lack other treatment options.

Faith-Based Long-Term Residential Recovery

Freedom Hall Recovery Center offers a voluntary long-term residential program with separate living quarters for men and women. Housing, meals, and clothing are provided throughout treatment giving residents a stable environment to focus fully on recovery.

The program blends Christian 12-step work based on NA and AA with daily Bible study, worship, and interactive groups.

Residents also receive counseling with a licensed counselor and complete assignments addressing self-esteem, rejection, and past abuse helping them work through the underlying issues that we know fuels addiction.

Recovery and Reentry Support

Beyond addiction treatment, the program emphasizes practical reintegration into daily life. Offerings have included anger-management programming, parenting and relationship classes, and life-skills education.

Residents are also supported in pursuing goals like employment and driver's-license restoration, GED completion, college coursework, and family reunification.

The program has historically been donation funded with treatment available regardless of financial resources which I find as an exceptional client centered service.
