About New Beginnings North

New Beginnings North is a men’s only sober living home based in Chicago, Illinois. Designed to support those struggling with addiction and substance abuse, they have enough space to house up to 23 men.

Previous clients have high praise for their experience at the clinic, particularly the staff for being attentive and understanding. They are available to help residents with anything, including personal problems, and provide stability and structure. The location, 6,000 square feet on the shores of Lake Michigan, has no shortage of amazing natural beauty. With a beach, and acres of breathtaking parkland, the lakefront offers a stunning natural respite. It’s an ideal sanctuary for all that crucial reflection during your recovery. For those in need of a bit of physical exercise to shake things off, there are plenty of jogging paths and biking routes to explore, as well as a nearby golf course.

Staff can also provide referrals to supportive services, such as medical care, 12 Step or other recovery groups, or help with permanent housing, prescriptions, or employment. As part of its treatment offering, New Beginnings also features a structured inpatient program. While taking part, its residents can enjoy wireless access, high-speed cable, and luxurious queen-sized bedrooms with plenty of storage.
