In terms of payment, they accept Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, as well as various private insurance options. Financial assistance is also available to those eligible.
This particular center has a walk-in assessment clinic for adults and kids receiving Medicaid benefits. Mental health assessments are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, Mondays through to Fridays, from 9am-4:30pm.
With mental and behavioral health services available to individuals of all ages, clients can expect integrated child and family services such as in-school services, case management, and individual, group, and family therapy. Regular assessments are also conducted to check in on clients and how treatment is going for them. For those with more complex medical issues, medication and consultation services are also provided.
This center also offers one of the largest addiction treatment programs for substance abuse disorder in the whole of Pierce County. This has been available to the community since 2011. Available to adults aged 18 and older, clients can benefit from person-centered care that leads with individualized treatment plans. After all, everyone’s case is different, which means setting unique goals and respecting clients’ preferences, boundaries, and limits.
The team here is highly trained in treatment planning and relapse prevention, and can support clients through either outpatient (OP) or intensive outpatient programming (IOP). For anyone needing more intensive care, referrals can be made to external inpatient programs. Initial assessments will establish the best option for clients.
Treatment here may include collaborative medication assisted treatment, also called MAT, to help clients manage cravings and withdrawal symptoms. This is typically combined with individual and group counseling sessions to help individuals really engage with their addiction at its root, and explore the origins of their unhealthy behavioral patterns. Relapse prevention, addiction education, and harm reduction strategies are all taught to ensure a sustainable and long-term recovery.
They have other programs listed. Abstinence-based support groups are also provided, such as AA and NA sessions. Mindfulness and art therapy may also be included as part of a rounded, holistic treatment experience.
