About Muckleshoot Indian Tribe Behavioral Health
The Muckleshoot Indian Reservation behavioral health program is for Tribal members and Native Americans living on or near Muckleshoot Indian Reservation in Auburn, Washington. They offer outpatient mental health, substance use disorder treatment, youth and adult recovery housing and prevention activities.
Their adult mental health care includes assessment, crisis intervention and various types of counseling and therapy. I like that they offer equine assisted psychotherapy which helps people heal as they work with horses and bond through caring for them. Certified counselors offer individual, couples and family counseling and can offer their services in person or virtually.
For substance abuse services, they offer treatment and case management, DUI assessments and medication assisted treatment. They can prescribe Suboxone, Subclade or Vivitrol to clients to combat opioid use. Intensive outpatient groups are offered morning afternoon or evenings to suit the best time for your schedule. Gambling counseling as well as after care programs are also available. They’ve several adult recovery houses as well as clean and sober homes in the area.
