About UCHealth Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center – Fort Collins

UCHealth Mountain Crest Behavioral Health is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. They are a standalone building that is a service of Poudre Valley Hospital. Mental health and substance abuse services are provided for adults and adolescents between the ages of 13-17 years old.

They do accept health insurance including Medicare. You are also able to pay on a fee for services basis. I like that they will help you come up with a payment schedule if you do not have health insurance.

Mental health assessments will be conducted and a treatment plan developed. Family is included in your treatment plan.

For adults, they provide a substance abuse program. It provides short term inpatient medical detox. Detox will usually be three to five days. You will then graduate to the intensive outpatient program.

The intensive outpatient program will focus on skill building, education, and processing. The program consists of a lot of group therapy. I do like that family members are included once per week.

When you graduate from the intensive outpatient program, then you can participate in their continuing care program. I like that you are able to attend this program at no cost. Adolescents are able to receive treatment with the dual diagnosis intensive outpatient psychiatric program.
