About Modus Vivendi

Modus Vivendi offers substance-dependent adults an opportunity for a more meaningful and dignified life through culturally competent therapy. Since 2004, the facility has supported Multnomah County residents. This encompasses those involved in the criminal justice system. Support is extended to families impacted by their loved one’s struggle with substance use disorder. They’re located in Portland, Oregon, near Powell Butte Nature Park and the East Portland Community Center.

Outstanding Features Of Modus Vivendi

Modus Vivendi creates a conducive outpatient environment where clients feel empowered to share their behavioral challenges and receive practical solutions that foster long-term success.

One thing I love most about them is their multilingual support with services delivered in English, Ukrainian and Russian. They even support French- and German-speaking clients. This ensures people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds can receive culturally appropriate solutions to their problems.

I also noticed that they accept Oregon Health Plan, which is Oregon’s Medicaid. This reflects a commitment to affordable and accessible care for everyone. Another feature I find quite appealing is how they strive to make the broader healing journey flexible through telehealth. Telehealth doesn’t just enhance convenience but also saves costs by eliminating transportation barriers to recovery.

Addiction Recovery, Domestic Violence Intervention and Parenting Classes

Modus Vivendi is Oregon state-certified to provide substance use assessment, education and treatment support for DUII offenders. They offer outpatient therapy groups alongside individual sessions and psychoeducation classes with a focus on identifying relapse warning signs and building robust sober strategies for long-term abstinence.

The facility also provides domestic violence intervention that promotes healthy relationship building, effective communication and conflict resolution as potent tools for healing. Their parenting classes use positive reinforcement techniques to help parents build stronger relationships with their children while creating a nurturing home environment.

Female bodies are affected differently by substance abuse than male bodies. Women’s rehab in Oregon addresses these and other differences, to provide effective treatment for women.

Opioid Treatment

During opioid rehab in Oregon, you may participate in a variety of therapies. Common methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and group therapy. Many treatment programs address dual diagnosis and also provide aftercare support. The ultimate goal is abstinence from opioids for long-term recovery.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A guiding principle of cognitive behavioral therapy in Oregon is that people struggling with substance use disorder can learn how to cope in new ways and make positive changes. This treatment method empowers individuals with the skills to do so.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT)

If you are struggling with substance use disorder, rational emotive behavioral therapy in Oregon targets beliefs that lead to negative behaviors. It can help you replace irrational beliefs and may be influencing your addiction.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an integrative, community-based care strategy designed to address the needs of persons with severe and/or complex mental illness or behavioral disorders. ACT is typically provided by a multidisciplinary team of medical and mental health care providers, social workers, therapists, and other specialists, including addiction recovery professionals. These services are frequently provided in the home and community to clients in crisis, those who are clinically unstable, and those who are unable or unwilling to travel to a hospital or clinic for in-person treatment.
