About Miracles in Action

Miracles in Action is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab in Burbank, CA. They provide an intensive outpatient program, an outpatient program, and an outpatient detox. They have specialized programs for veterans and first responders, as well as college students. In addition to substance abuse treatment, they address mental health issues and co-occurring disorders.

The PHP is designed to treat psychological disorders and substance abuse together. Clients will reside at home and attend 25-30 hours of treatment per week Monday through Friday. Treatment can include individual, group, and family therapy, life skill support, coping skills and relapse prevention, and psychoeducation.

The IOP is often recommended for individuals who do not need detox and is flexible with daytime or evening scheduling to support a person’s school, work, or parenting demands. Group sessions are held three to five times per week. The Intensive Outpatient Program for first responders concentrates on work-related stress and trauma, PTSD, grief, and anxiety.
