About San Bernardino DUI Program
The San Bernardino DUI Program is a non-profit driver education program in San Bernardino, California. They work with adults and teenagers who’ve been arrested and/or convicted of a driving under the influence (DUI) charge. They also work with individuals who’ve had their driving privileges revoked by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Participants attend courses most suited to their situation, such as first-offender DUI, multiple-offender DUI, wet and reckless, or a program for underage drinkers. Course participants are taught how drugs and alcohol can affect individuals, families, and communities. They are encouraged to make permanent lifestyle changes.
The San Bernardino DUI Program falls under the TURN Behavioral Health Services, which is community funded. Additional healthcare, mental health treatment, or drug rehab treatment may be covered by major insurers, including Aetna, Ambetter, Cigna, Humana, Beacon, Anthem, ComPsych, Kaiser Permanente, and others.
