About San Diego Treatment and Recovery Center

Action Central is a nonprofit outpatient center and supportive housing program that serves the individuals and families that are at most risk in San Diego, California. Their services cater to addiction recovery, mental health challenges, and dual-diagnosis treatment for individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. They treat all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. Specialized services are available for veterans, women with children, and those who are currently homeless.

Treatments at Action Central are evidence-based and tailored to the needs of each individual. The center encourages their clients’ family members to participate in the recreational and therapeutic activities when they can.

Action Central is publicly funded.
