About Metro Counseling
The Metro Counseling Services center in Rockville, Maryland offers evaluations, education and counseling for clients with DUI, DWI and substance use criminal offenses. They accept out of pocket payments and most of the major insurance providers. All services are available in English and Spanish.
Services are delivered in an outpatient setting and include drug and alcohol education classes, alcohol and drug evaluations and anger management classes. These services are designed to help clients see the threat alcohol and drug use has on public safety and driving ability.
Metro Counseling Services also offers Level 1 outpatient substance use treatment, which includes individual and group counseling sessions. These sessions focus on promoting self-recovery, understanding the impact of substance use, developing ‘normal’ coping skills and teaching relapse prevention skills. Over the course of outpatient treatment, clients are helped to change their behaviors and identify their strengths to live a sober, more fulfilled life.
