Facility Offered Supportive Services for People in Recovery
The South Campus provided a variety of services, including home and hospice care, home medical equipment and physical therapy and rehabilitation. While these services didn’t specifically address substance use disorders, they were supportive services for individuals in recovery. I’m impressed that they helped to address pain without medication and offered home health care and hospice care that acknowledged and accommodated individuals who were in recovery.
Military & Veteran Culturally Competent Care
MercyOne’s network also offers healthcare to address the needs of active-duty military and veterans in a culturally competent system. The providers understand the health concerns and mental health challenges that are specific to the military community and address issues like migraine headaches, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic injury sustained during service and behavioral and mental health conditions while supporting recovery.
The main hospital in Clinton works with most major health insurance providers in the region.
