About Men’s CrossRoads Reno

Men’s CrossRoads Reno is an addiction center and homeless shelter in Reno, Nevada. Now under the management of the Reno Initiative for Shelter and Equality (RISE), they help men who are experiencing addiction and are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.

If you need that kind of help from them, you’ll receive addiction counseling, case management, volunteering or work opportunities. Through the program, you’ll have access to community resources for help with housing, healthcare, education and other services.

What makes this center different is that they don’t expect everyone to reach the same goals and aim for the same outcomes. They treat each person as an individual, find out what makes them come alive, and help them to achieve that.

Most homeless housing shelters like this one don’t charge residents to stay but allow them to work and pay their way as they earn. They aim to reintegrate their residents into the community, allowing them to find a healthy sober lifestyle that works for them.
