MedStar’s Western Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, Maryland offers behavioral health care for clients of all ages. This includes a substance use disorder program. MedStar also runs a partial hospitalization program as part of its psychiatric services. Clients with chemical dependency issues are eligible as well as those dealing with other issues such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. This level of care is intensive. Expect to spend four to six and a half hours in treatment each day up to five times a week. There's also an intensive outpatient program which is one step down from this level. You'll receive the same level of care and services but at a less intense frequency.
