McCall Center for Behavioral Health McCall House is an intermediate addiction recovery home for adults in Torrington, Connecticut. Once you’ve completed in-house treatment, you can stay at McCall House while you transition back into the community. The home is situated in a peaceful suburban neighborhood.

The home accommodates 13 people, allowing for a close-knit supportive community. You’ll benefit from the structure and access to staff around the clock. On average people stay there for three to four months. During this time, you’ll be equipped with what you need to live independently.

A lot of time will be spent on preparing you for facing the challenges of leaving a supervised environment and being back in the community. You’ll work through the issues that may cause stress. Stress can trigger a relapse, but being prepared for it arms you to make good choices. You’ll also learn healthy coping skills.

You’ll have the support of a counselor. They’ll teach you tools and strategies for avoiding relapse. You’ll find the atmosphere in the house to be warm and encouraging.
