The New Haven Outpatient location has several programs focusing on mental health and substance abuse. There’s also a Spanish language track.
The intensive outpatient program meets three times per week for sessions that last three hours each time. Groups focus on topics like relapse prevention and anger management. Through therapy you’ll identify triggers and develop healthy coping skills.
In addition to substance abuse, they have a specialized program for gambling called Better Choice Gambling Program. They offer a pre- trial intervention program for people who have recently received a DUI.

Another person who attended said they weren’t happy to be mandated to attend treatment at MCCA, but they were taught how to build relationships and friendships.
