About Marty Mann Halfway House-Women
The Marty Mann Halfway House located in Duluth, Minnesota is a recovery program designed for women suffering from substance use disorders. Whether you’ve been referred by a treatment center, probation or are self referred you can find a supportive community of women who strive to uplift each other, offer compassionate care and hold each other accountable.
The house is accessible by public transportation which allows you to come and go with ease. Former and current residents have commended the house for being a relaxing environment with caring staff members.
House Programming
Residents focus on relapse prevention and building life skills that will help them find employment and gain more independence. I think it’s impactful that residents have support from their peers and how the importance of community is emphasized. Residents also participate in twelve step programming and can either volunteer in the local community, attend schoo, or seek employment during their stay.
Community Connection
There is a strong sense of community at the house and I found that finding support in Duluth can also offer healing benefits. Chester Park is an example of a scenic green space where residents can hike, relax, and spend time with others.
