About Marietta Memorial Hospital

Marietta Memorial Hospital can be found on Matthew Street in Marietta, Ohio. They provide behavioral health services including outpatient therapy for clients of all ages in need of treatment to address mental health issues and co-occurring disorders.

They also provide medication management services for those struggling with PTSD, bipolar depression, anxiety and depression, those diagnosed with ADHD and autism, clients with personality disorders, trauma and issues with sleep disturbances.

Neuropsychological Testing & GeneSite Testing

In addition to traditional forms of therapy, I like that they provide you with neuropsychological testing, psychiatric evaluations and GeneSite testing, a type of genetic testing that can provide information on your predisposition to certain types of mental illness.

There’s also a track for pregnant women called MATernity Journey, which is available in their network. The staff provides medication assisted treatment and holistic services so that clients and their kids have access to outpatient care and parenting classes.

Referrals for Treatment & Support

I find it good to know that although they do not specifically treat those diagnosed with substance use disorders, their emergency department may provide you with overnight stabilization if you are in need of acute care for your addiction and mental health issues. This can include wound care for those who might need extra attention due to shared needles or other drug paraphernalia.

They will then provide you with aftercare planning and referrals to higher levels of treatment to address your withdrawal symptoms, housing and food needs as well as community support groups that may assist you on your road to recovery.
