About Malvern Treatment Centers-King Road

Malvern Treatment Centers has three locations in Pennsylvania. Their flagship location is called the Malvern Addiction Treatment Center. Located in the city of Malvern, it’s nestled on eight serene acres and offers inpatient care for adults who want to overcome drug and alcohol addiction.

The first thing you’ll notice about this facility is the peaceful setting. Chester County is known for its rolling hills and beautiful rural views and this center is no exception. Located just 27 miles outside of Philadelphia, it feels a world away from the fast-paced speed of city life. Here, there are 59 beds for residential clients and 21 beds for clients who need to detox.

Some of the services they specialize in include interventions, detox and residential care. If you suffer from a co-occurring mental health condition like depression or anxiety then they also provide psychiatric assessments and follow-up services.

They first established their residential treatment model back in 1948, when they opened their first facility. Known as the Malvern Model of Care, it emphasizes a whole-person approach to addiction recovery. Your team will give you all the tools you need to remain sober for the long term, equipping you with an entire continuum of care that includes detox, induction and inpatient services.

From there, you may progress to outpatient treatment at a different location. Yet, they believe that the most critical part of your recovery happens while you stay on-site. You’ll have round-the-clock support provided by clinicians who are experts in their field. They also incorporate cutting-edge technologies into their psychotherapy treatment plans.

When you’re ready to graduate to an outpatient level of care, you’ll find that Malvern has lots to offer. This is an incredibly family-friendly borough with a walkable downtown, diverse neighborhoods and fascinating sites like the 19th-century Historic Sugartown. You’ll also find museums, local parks and a strong arts and theater scene as you explore.
