Components of the program include an introduction to the recovery community including 12 step meetings, sponsorship and peer relations. They’ll also help you navigate individual and group mentoring sessions and case management. They can even assist with job readiness and placement assistance, life skills training and aftercare readiness and placement assistance.

Each component thoroughly prepares you for long term sobriety and serenity once you complete your stay. I found it encouraging to know that many clients found their program life changing and it helped many escape addiction in a comfortable setting with lasting life lessons.

Located in an historic and quiet community, Fairfax provides a safe environment for you to begin your journey of healing. A new gazebo is planned and many modern updates have been made to the home to provide comfort and rest during your stay at Fairfax House.

Winchester is a historic town in the Shenandoah Valley of Northern Virginia. A few blocks from the Fairfax House you can relax and enjoy the history on display at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley and attached 1790s Glen Burnie House and landscaped gardens.

Old Town, also only a few blocks away, provides a nice strolling historic downtown full of shops and dining. To the east, vast Jim Barnett Park includes a lake and arboretum where you can find peace through nature on your road to recovery.
