Libertae is a nonprofit organization in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, specializing in gender informed treatment. This women’s recovery center is dedicated to treating addiction and co-occurring disorders and provides a full continuum of care. You can access long-term residential rehab, various outpatient services and a halfway house. And the best part is, everything is located on their three acre campus.

Their programs use a gender informed, family centered treatment approach. This model accounts for your unique situation as well as female biological factors that can contribute to addiction. Depending on where you are in recovery you can attend their programs while living at home or receive continuous care onsite.

Each program uses several therapeutic interventions in group and individual settings to help you reach your recovery goals. You can participate in sessions about self esteem, 12 Step philosophy, conflict resolution, grief and loss, family, spirituality and social skills.

What stands out most to me is their in-depth case management services. They strive to help you rebuild essential parts of life to promote long term sobriety. You'll benefit from life skills counseling, educational assistance, legal services, budgeting classes, wellness activities and recreation. They also link you to community resources to support your recovery journey.

Their family facilities really caught my eye. These programs provide treatment, services and resources for pregnant women and mothers with young children. You can access prenatal care and participate in groups to strengthen your family unit. They offer healthy parenting, family functioning and mother child bonding groups. You’ll also foster essential skills like communication techniques, work-life balance and self reflection.
