Liberation Programs Stamford Inpatient and Outpatient Services is a behavioral health organization specializing in the treatment of substance use disorder. During an inpatient stay at Liberation House, the men identify their goals and objectives while creating an individualized recovery plan. While in this program, you’ll meet weekly with a counselor for individual therapy. You’ll also engage in group therapy, medication assisted treatment and family therapy. Therapy focuses on building daily life skills and creating a stable routine. Clinicians can also help you find stable housing and transition to employment.
Outpatient services and medication dosing are available at this facility six days per week. You’ll have the option to join the intensive outpatient program, attend support groups facilitated by recovery coaches, and receive medication supported therapy. They use a harm reduction model and strive to reduce overdose deaths. While in outpatient treatment, you’ll be encouraged to reduce substance use, stop illegal activities and become employed. Medications like Vivitrol, buprenorphine and methadone are used to treat uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms and decrease your physical drug cravings.
Youth and family resources are provided in an outreach program to local schools and youth groups to strengthen and promote youth resiliency. The goal of this program is to combat substance abuse among teens.
