About CHI Health Psychiatric Associates at Lasting Hope
Located in Omaha, Nebraska, Lasting Hope is a dual diagnosis mental health treatment provider, part of CHI Health. Serving adults with addiction and mental health disorders. Lasting Hope offers inpatient drug rehab treatment, outpatient, counseling, crisis support, psychiatric care, aftercare support, and family services.
Lasting Hope is a 64 bed facility run by a team of compassionate experts. Unlike stereotypical psychiatric facilities, Lasting Hope doesn’t have bars on the windows or plastic furniture; it has private rooms, comfortable accommodations, and a calm and peaceful environment that even includes private courtyards and a chapel for patients to meditate or have a quiet moment. Lasting Hope starts treatment with a comprehensive psychiatric and substance use assessment, which informs an individualized treatment plan, and then stabilization. Using a multi-occurring treatment model, the center uses evidence based practices which include peer support specialists, and a wellness recovery action plan. The treatment team includes psychiatric nurses and a psychiatrist who has expertise in treating major depression, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and other co-occurring conditions, like substance use disorder. The facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is for any adult experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Prior to discharge, patients leaving Lasting Hope will be referred to appropriate services for follow up care and/or longer term treatment.
Lasting Hope accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, some commercial insurance plans, and private pay. Other payment options, such as sliding scale payments or financial assistance may be available.
