About Lakeview Center Pathway

Lakeview Center’s Pathway program is offered through Lakeview’s sister site, The Friary. This program is located in Pensacola, Florida, and offers psychiatric and substance use recovery services for adults. They work specifically with individuals who are involved in drug court.

Care is offered in an intensive outpatient setting and because this is the main campus, you can also be served through their residential services as well. While being on the main campus, you’ll also find opioid recovery support and, of course, DUI programs if they apply to your case.

This sprawling campus spans 25 acres, helping serve recovering individuals in an environment that's welcoming and utilizes the latest evidence based approaches to recovery.

By being committed to helping individuals of all stages of recovery from substance use, you'll be met with a dedicated team of professionals who will connect you to the right services. I appreciate that this care is not stigmatized and is judgment free despite your past struggles with the law.

Another aspect of their care that I liked is their trauma informed approach to recovery. In their program, you can be guided through your recovery if you’ve endured traumatic or violent experiences that have contributed to your substance use struggles. There's also wrap around support if you have severe mental health struggles at play.

Plus, you'll find medication assisted treatment available here too through their Suboxone program. This way, you can manage ongoing cravings through your opioid recovery.

Some of the other services I appreciate here are their court liaison services which can be helpful to those navigating the legal system. Law enforcement officers and other agencies also turn to Lakeview Center as they provide specialized training in helping officers when they work with Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
