About La Ventana Treatment Programs
The La Ventana Treatment Programs had a site in Santa Monica, California. They offered treatment for adults experiencing addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. They provided onsite medical detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, with a specialized track for 2S/LGBTQIA+ individuals. They have since moved to Thousand Oaks.
Along with individual and group therapy, La Ventana offered evidence-based experiential therapy tailored to each client’s individualized treatment plan, such as Music in Recovery. Clients expressed emotions through song, dance, and instruments, including drumming circles and song recording. They also ran Family Immersion sessions to reconnect families and equip them to help prevent relapse.
If you go to their Thousand Oaks location, you’ll find that La Ventana is in-network with many private health insurance companies, including MultiPlan, Pathway, Aetna, Beacon, Cigna, Evernorth, Anthem, TRPM, and MHN. It’s important to check your coverage as out of network benefits vary depending on the provider.
The program is licensed and certified by the State Department of Health Care Services, SAMHSA, WAAT, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), HCS, and the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).
