About La Jolla Recovery
La Jolla Recovery is located in La Jolla, California. They’re an outpatient addiction treatment center for adults that offers multiple levels of care, including detox, depending on your individual needs. The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission and they do accept insurance.
I like that they use advanced assessment methods and biopsychosocial evaluations to create your personal treatment plan. The assessment and evaluations will also determine the appropriate level of care for you. If other issues arise during your evaluations, they will provide you with referrals.
Their detox program is on a residential basis. It does run 24/7. You will be screened for drugs, alcohol and mental health disorders. Depending on your substance of choice and the severity of your addiction, you may be in detox for seven to 10 days. You will then transition to residential treatment lasting 30 to 60 days in length.
Outpatient programs are also available and offer transportation services.. The partial hospitalization program is if you need strict and structured care but you don’t require 24 hour supervision. You’ll attend counseling and group therapy sessions six days per week, for six hours a day. Recreational activities and 12 step meetings will also be attended.
Their intensive outpatient program allows for some flexibility so that you can attend therapy but also attend to your personal responsibilities. You’ll attend sessions for 10 to 15 hours per week for a minimum of 30 days. Weekly treatment is also available for individuals needing recovery support through the standard outpatient program.
I like that they have a multidisciplinary team. The team works together in coordinating your care to make sure your long-term recovery is set up for success. The team includes a medical director, clinical director, case manager, therapists, counselors and a psychiatrist to name a few.
