Located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Kootenai Recovery Community offers advocacy and support for individuals seeking help with their addiction and behavioral health issues. This is a free, peer supported outpatient recovery network open to all individuals interested in a non clinical approach to overcoming addiction. It is run solely by volunteers who share their experience, strength, and hope with those ready to create change in their lives.

Kootenai Recovery Community provides education, support, and skills building opportunities through their peer led support groups. Their purpose is to remove barriers to treatment that often inhibit individuals from obtaining their goals. By helping those who may not be able to afford treatment, a higher number of people can be reached. Kootenai Recovery Community offers a meeting schedule that allows clients to participate actively in their recovery, while immersing themselves in a community of like minded individuals.
