About Keystone Treatment Center
Keystone Treatment Center provides residential substance abuse treatment for young adults and adults in Canton, South Dakota. They have a military and Native American program. Outpatient treatment is also available for those who want to live at home while receiving assistance or are entering a step down phase from inpatient care.
Medical detox is available and includes 24 hour care to ensure safety and comfort. Medical staff will monitor your vital signs and help guide you through the detox process. Medication management is included when needed to lessen withdrawal symptoms and reduce drug cravings. Physicians supervise these medicines and adjust the dosage as appropriate.
You’ll attend individual therapy sessions where you have one on one attention to work through past trauma and potentially pinpoint the root causes of addiction issues. You may work on developing coping skills, recognizing substance triggers and learning relapse prevention methods for the future.
Group therapy offers time with others in recovery and creates opportunities for feedback in an intimate setting with people who understand addiction challenges. It also helps you have a supportive network of like-minded people.
Family therapy is available and may help your loved ones understand more about the disease of addiction and how it can affect your relationships. These sessions can provide a support network to encourage your sobriety after treatment.
