KC Services Garden Grove is a community clinic located in Garden Grove, California. They provide services to adolescents, adults, veterans and families who are struggling with substance abuse disorders. They accept medicare and Medi-Cal insurance. If you are uninsured or underinsured they offer sliding scale fees as well.
Originally Korean Community Services (KCS), this organization was founded in 1977 for immigration supportive services. Throughout the 80’s they provided legal assistance, food banks, outreach, counseling, educational resources and job training. Since then they have worked with social services, courts and probation departments and have expanded levels of care by offering health education, counseling and health screenings to vulnerable populations and immigrants.
While you receive services from this clinic, you can check out local attractions like religious sites, historic sites, speciality museums, a water park and spas. This can be a great way for you to relax and reflect on your recovery or go on an outing with your support network.

The counseling services at KC offer individualized treatment plans, recovery support, case management, counseling, discharge planning, evaluations and assessments. Receiving counseling services creates a safe space for you to vocalize personal matters and release pent up emotions with professional guidance. You’ll also build a toolbox of coping skills to use in recovery.

What sticks out to me the most is their pc1000 program also known as Drug Offender Diversion Law. This program was designed specifically for first time drug offenders to have an alternative to serving time. You can plead guilty and have an opportunity to get your charges dismissed once completing drug treatment.

Another program available for safety and educational services is their First Offenders DUI program. This is tailored to individuals who were convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol. The program lasts up to nine months and includes counseling and education on the risks of driving while drinking.

Other services available here include their Batterers’ Intervention Program, anger management, parent education programs, child abusers’ treatment program and social services agency counseling. These programs provide opportunities to learn about the harmful and long lasting effects of abuse within the family and how to break the cycle of violence.
