About Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center Duncan
Located in Duncan, Oklahoma, Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center Duncan (JTC) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that offers outpatient mental health care services, including substance use disorder treatment for clients of all ages.
I’m impressed that JTC has been part of the community in Southwest Oklahoma for 50 years. Plus, their central location in town makes it convenient for clients to get to appointments, whether they have their own car or use Red River Transportation Service. It’s right near Fuqua Park and Claridy Creek.
Outpatient Addiction Treatment in Duncan
One thing that stands out to me right away about this facility is the convenience. Since the center offers integrative health care services, there’s no need to navigate appointments at different locations. You have everything you need here, from addiction and mental health therapy to primary care for other health concerns.
You’ll work with a group of experienced addiction professionals who support both SUD recovery and the broader challenges that come with rebuilding your life. Your case manager will work with you to create your treatment plan and help you access the services you qualify for, including referrals to higher levels of treatment if needed.
How You Can Pay for Care
There’s no reason to let finances prevent you from accessing treatment services. JTC accepts SoonerCare, and also works with most private insurance providers. If you don’t have insurance coverage, I notice that you may qualify for a sliding scale fee.
