About Jefferson Center
The Jefferson Center is located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The organization provides mental health and substance use services to adults and pregnant women. Most commercial insurance plans are accepted including Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare. I like how flexible and supportive they are of your treatment. Because of that flexibility and care, they are able to come up with creative payment plans, if you are uninsured.
During your intake appointment, the counselors will conduct an assessment and evaluation. Once that is done, they will determine if you have an underlying co-occurring disorder and develop your individualized treatment plan.
Through individual counseling you will also develop your continued care plan and have referrals provided, if needed. Medication assisted treatment is offered. What stood out to me was that they also offer mobile medication assisted treatment, which is grant funded. This service is for anyone who is 16 years and older. You must be struggling with an opioid use disorder and co-occurring challenges.
Prenatal substance use treatment is available for pregnant women. You will be able to receive medication assisted treatment along with individual and group counseling. Mental health counseling is available if any co-occurring disorders need to be addressed. They also help you create a healthy lifestyle with wellness classes.
