About Isaiah House – Shelley Center

The Shelley Center of Isaiah House is located in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Adult women are able to receive substance use disorder treatment in residential and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). The program is short in length but can be extended. Insurance is accepted.

The facility has 34 beds available. There’s an exercise room and a large meeting room with couches for group therapy. I do like that they have an onsite medical office with a registered nurse.

What stood out to me is that their client support team are in recovery themselves. They’re able to provide you with peer support, as they have been through similar situations as you. You’ll be able to relate with them and have them as a sober support system.

If detox is needed, they provide non hospitalization care. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available if you are struggling with an opioid use disorder. The medication will help ease your cravings and alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal.

Their licensed clinicians are able to provide you with individual and group therapy. Your treatment plan may also include life skills classes, celebrate recovery and case management. You will be able to go on church outings and attend their structured activities. If you’re pregnant, you will need a letter from your doctor in order to be accepted in the program.

The organization is CARF accredited. They are LegitScript and National Alliance for Recovery Residences certified. They have also received the Candid 2024 platinum transparency seal.
