About Insight Services Colorado Springs
Insight Services provides substance abuse and mental health treatment in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The counseling center helps adolescents and adults navigate recovery with progressive services for long term sobriety.
I think one of the interesting features is the therapy format. Along with traditional methods, they work on forming a relationship with clients to build trust. Clients have active roles and collaborate to address mental health issues, work through past traumas, and become stable. They also learn how to have healthy relationships.
Goals are also set and achieved in treatment. Goal setting may help us become more aware of actions and prevent future relapse by using strategies that focus on rewards for positive behaviors. Peer coaching is available to help guide you through the program and connect you with other resources to help with sobriety efforts.
They have adolescent specific services that address the symptoms faced by teens. Therapeutic techniques are geared toward their needs, which can differ from those of adults experiencing addiction.
My take on their family therapy sessions is that they assist with promoting better problem solving abilities and help loved ones set appropriate boundaries. These sessions can also work on mending broken relationships affected by drug or alcohol use.
I also found the life skills training with time management and budgeting to be a unique aspect that isn’t available with all recovery programs. They offer meditation, music, art, breathwork, and other holistic methods.
They have level 2 DUI education and therapy services for those charged with DWAI or DUI violations. The service includes formal substance abuse care and interventions that focus on the consequences and effects of alcohol and drug use. The program also includes Interlock Enhancement Counseling (IEC) for those with ignition interlocks on their automobiles. The program length depends on which track you attend and ranges from 21 weeks to 43 weeks.
