Offering countless outdoor recreational activities and a thriving arts and culture scene Denver, Colorado, also features Independence House North Side. This specialized facility provides addiction and mental health care for adults in the criminal justice system. You’ll benefit from various outpatient programs to start or continue your recovery journey.

Their 90 day outpatient program serves over 2,000 people in the legal system at a time. It provides proven therapeutic interventions to help you reach your recovery goals. You can access comprehensive services including alcohol and drug assessments, group and individual therapy, DUI services and case management.

What stands out most to me is their vocational resources. Reentering society after incarceration can come with many hurdles. They strive to help you improve essential life aspects like employment. You’ll benefit from learning new career and life skills to build the confidence to become self-sufficient after treatment.

Another incredible feature I noticed was their seamless transition to other levels of care. They work with you to understand your needs and can connect you with inpatient care if outpatient isn’t the best fit. I think it’s great that you can also access nine months of aftercare. This gives you ongoing support and guidance to stay on track in your recovery journey.

Many former clients report enjoying their services. Some mentioned a positive environment with a friendly, empathetic staff. One client described appreciating their various counseling topics that are covered during treatment.
