During your first appointment you’ll undergo a comprehensive exam and give a substance use history. You may be issued a prescription and you’ll develop a personalized treatment plan.

During the first one to two weeks they will be managing your withdrawal symptoms and transitioning you from opioids to the appropriate medications. A nurse will check in with you daily and you’ll see a provider at the facility every few days.

In stage two, you’ll be stabilized and consistently taking your prescription medications. Your clinic visits will decrease to weekly or every other week.

During stage three, you’ll be in the maintenance phase and see your provider monthly. Ideal Option uses medications like Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Brixadi. They do not use methadone.

Recovery care coordinators provide therapy, housing and food support, and job placement services. If you need any other social services, they can recommend referrals for the appropriate places.
