Horizon Village of Horizon Health Services is an adult inpatient rehabilitation facility in Sanborn, New York. Before commencing the program, you will undergo a mental health and substance use evaluation. One of their counselors will get to know you by asking you some questions. The evaluation will take you about one hour.
Their 50 bed comprehensive recovery program focuses on the person as a whole. They also use evidence based practices. You will attend both individual and group therapy sessions. During your group sessions, you will be able to get to know your peers and understand that you are not alone on the journey to long term recovery. You will also receive education on substance use disorders.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available if deemed appropriate by their addiction medicine consultation. If you are interested, they also have a health and wellness program. They believe that the key to recovery is physical wellness. Their wellness center has a gym and fitness facility with personal trainers. The trainors will focus on your wellness and recreation.
On a weekly basis, they have yoga classes and cycling classes. You can also play basketball, pickleball or volleyball.
They also have a family program that addresses the needs of loved ones that have been affected by substance use. This program will provide your family and loved ones with the skills needed to support you in your long term recovery.
