Hopewell Health Hocking Behavioral Health is an integrated outpatient healthcare facility. This location serves the community of Logan, Ohio by providing mental health and primary care services. Services are available for children, adults, and families. Treatment includes psychiatry, crisis services, outpatient counseling and substance abuse support and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Primary care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
Their community psychiatric support services consist of home, community, or office based case management care. In this program, you’ll receive support with housing and medical care, daily living skills, and crisis management.
Crisis intervention is available by phone or face-to-face 365 days a year. After evaluation, you’ll be connected to the appropriate intervention, residential crisis care, or hospitalization programs.
The partial hospitalization program is day treatment provided Monday through Friday for children with severe emotional problems. This program includes individual and group counseling, behavior management, and skills building. A psychiatrist meets with the kids weekly to provide medication management. Separate groups are available for younger kids aged seven through 11 and for kids aged 12 through 17.
Hopewell Health provides MAT services using Vivitrol. People in this program are generally enrolled in Ohio drug court, are experiencing poor health and lack employment. This program addresses all needs including substance abuse counseling and case management. This is a four-phase, 12-month program that also includes medical services.
Outpatient counseling at Hopewell is short-term and solution-focused. During these sessions, your care team will help you identify and mobilize your own coping skills as you learn new ways to navigate your environment.
