About Hopewell Health Centers, Inc.

Hopewell Health Centers McArthur has a mission to provide affordable access to integrated healthcare for everyone. They offer a wide variety of health services through their 22 locations. This location on State Route 93 North in McArthur, Ohio, offers dental, primary healthcare, and behavioral healthcare including substance use disorder treatment. They also have a special medication assisted treatment (MAT) program for those involved in the justice system.

They accept many different private and public health insurance plans. For the uninsured, they have a sliding fee scale for primary and dental care as well as some behavioral health services.

They offer a comprehensive array of behavioral health services at the McArthur location including community psychiatric supportive treatment services (CPST). CPST helps children with severe emotional disturbances and adults with severe mental illness. These services were formerly called case management, and they help connect clients with a range of supportive services such as access to entitlements, community resources, medical care and housing. They also help with treatment planning and crisis management. CPST helps clients in the office, community, or even the home.

They offer psychiatric services for those who need medication management for co-occurring disorders such as severe depression. Outpatient counseling services include group, individual and family counseling. They also offer marital counseling. The goal of the counseling services is to offer a brief course of treatment that’s solution focused. The solution isn’t to solve one problem but to help the client develop the skills necessary to problem solve outside of the counseling sessions. Most people need about six sessions to enhance their skills. Counselors are trained to work with clients with prior physical and sexual abuse, as well as trauma.

The MAT program is a Vivitrol program for those involved in the justice system. The program addresses drug addiction, serious mental health issues, unemployment, transportation, homelessness, and overall poor health by employing wraparound services like substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment. The program has four phases and lasts for 12 months. All the services at this location work together for an integrated health experience, with primary care services also available.
