About Hope Valley – Men’s Division
Hope Valley’s Men Division offers residential treatment for men who are struggling with substance use disorder and mental health disorders in Dobson, North Carolina. The organization is accredited by CARF, the Association of Addiction Professionals and the Addiction Professionals of North Carolina.
To seek admission into their program, you will first need to give them a call. The phone call will take about five to 10 minutes. You will be asked questions that will help determine if you are eligible for their residential program. They accept insurance such as Humana Military and Tricare, to name a few. If you don’t have insurance then you may be eligible for state funding.
I like that they see recovery as a learning process. Their goal is to provide you with a healthy and safe environment. They are also willing to help you with any needed changes in your life. Practices such as motivational learning, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered counseling and relapse prevention planning.
They are a multi-acre facility. You will have a beautiful scenic view of their local river and landscape. The facility has a total of 22 beds. The rooms are shared between two people but they are spacious and furnished. The average length of stay is about 28 days.
By the river, they have a gazebo that will allow you time to pray, meditate and read. The breakroom is a nice place where you will be able to have some coffee and connect with your peers. In the breakroom, you will also be able to work on any assignments or play cards and board games.
Their curriculum is evidence based that will provide you with education on all of the addiction aspects. They combine experiential and educational activities to help you build a foundation of skills and knowledge for long-term recovery.
