There is an intensive outpatient program for adolescents aged 13 through 17 and a separate one for adults aged 18 and older. You’ll be assigned an individual therapist at the beginning of the program that will follow you as you move through the program. You’ll be offered several different types of groups that cover a range of mental health issues and substance abuse topics. Sessions will cover topics like working through trauma, relationships, communication and sober activities. The IOP consists of 30 sessions spread over many weeks. Your time in the program will depend on your progress and goals. Group sessions last about two hours. Family counseling and psychoeducation are also a part of treatment.
Psychiatrists are on staff to help you with medication management. Group, family and individual therapy sessions are available.
