Hope House Recovery

Hope House Recovery has been in operation as a faith based transitional living home since 1987. Their program, which is rooted in Christian principles, is designed specifically for those recently released from the justice system who are living with substance use disorder. You’ll find this home in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s in a quiet neighborhood near Heers Park.

This program offers transitional living support in addition to a clean and sober shelter. It has home-like amenities and lots of greenery to promote comfort and security. Residents share the house as a community while enjoying a degree of independence on their own recovery paths.

Accountability

One aspect I like about transitional living homes like this is that they help reinforce accountability as part of the recovery process. They have rules that must be followed (such as holding a job during your stay, obeying curfew, or attending meetings) for clients to stay in the program. This structure can benefit anyone, but I think it can prove especially helpful for those who have broken the law.
